Employer sponsored visas allow Australian employers to sponsor skilled overseas workers to come to Australia to fill vacancies within their business. There are a number of categories of visas, and considerable eligibility requirements and restrictions exist. Furthermore, the applicant’s occupation must be on one of the nominated skills lists and in some instances skills assessments are required.
