Employer sponsored visas allow Australian employers to sponsor skilled overseas workers to come to Australia to fill vacancies within their business. There are a number of categories of visas, and considerable eligibility requirements and restrictions exist. Furthermore, the applicant’s occupation must be on one of the nominated skills lists and in some instances skills assessments are required.

Hitchcock & Associates has a dedicated team working exclusively in employer sponsored visa categories. We have developed successful relationships with small, medium sized and major corporate clients over many years and we guide and work with the employer to create tailor made solutions, both for our clients and the visa applicants.

Visa categories include:

  • Subclass 400 – Temporary Work (Short Stay Specialist) Visa
  • Subclass 408 – Temporary Activity Visa
  • Subclass 482 – Temporary Skill Shortage Visa
  • Subclass 494 – Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa

  • Subclass 186 – Employer Nomination Scheme
  • Subclass 187 – Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme Visa
