Vanessa has been a migration agent since 1995 and has over 30 years experience in the field of Immigration. She joined the staff of Hitchcock and Associates as a Senior Consultant in 2004.

After completing a degree in Social Studies at the University of Sydney, she worked for the Department of Immigration for almost 20 years in various operational areas, assessing visa applications across a broad range of visa classes.

Vanessa served overseas for 4 years with the Department in the United Kingdom, primarily assessing applications for migration to Australia, then to Malaysia and Indonesia assessing refugee applications. Prior to becoming a Migration Agent, she managed the then internal review body in NSW for the Department.

Vanessa has an extensive knowledge of, and proven expertise in, company sponsored employment visas for Permanent and Temporary entry. Her primary role within the company is to provide our many corporate clients with assistance in the processing of these applications to ensure that the flow of skilled employees into Australia is smooth running and unhindered.
