MARA Code of Conduct

The professional staff of Hitchcock & Associates are bound by the Migration Agents Registration Authority (“MARA”) Code of Conduct which regulates the conduct of migration agents.

Information on the Regulation of the Migration Advice Profession

Before starting to work for you, we are obliged to provide to you a copy of Information on the Regulation of the Migration Advice Profession (IRMAP). 

A copy of the IRMAP is available for download at our homepage in English or you may visit the MARA website at

for other languages.

IRMAP sets out information about the migration advice industry, the functions of the MARA, the legislation regulating the industry, what you can expect from a migration agent, and complaint procedures.
