Permanent Wave: Visas and Skills Retention
Hitchcock and Associates invites our corporate clients and contacts to attend the second in a series of seminars, “Migration Issues for HR Managers”, designed to equip you with important information and grasp of Employer Sponsored migration. In this second seminar you will gain a better understanding of the right way to secure this work-related Australian Permanent visa. We will answer your questions on Employer Nomination, General Skilled Migration and extensions to existing migrant visas.

Temporary Residence

Temporary Resident Visas are used in a wide variety of situations where people come to Australia for periods of up to four years, and not initially for permanent residence. It is possible in many situations to apply to change from a temporary visa to a permanent resident visa within Australia.

There is a wide range of Temporary Resident Visas for entry to Australia. Some of these visas have more complex and demanding eligibility criteria, while some are quite straightforward. Hitchcock and Associates frequently recommends use of these visas when the need to be in Australia is urgent or in the short term. The main example of this is where a person with needed skills is being sponsored by an Australian company.
