Kim was born and raised in Malaysia. She came to Sydney in 1997 and enrolled in the Foundation studies course at the University of New South Wales. She went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce / Law at the University of New South in 2002.

In 2005 she graduated with a Master of Laws degree also from the University of New South Wales. After the completion of her bachelor degree, Kim went on to complete her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Technology, Sydney.

Following the completion of her Graduate Diploma, she was then admitted as a legal practitioner in 2004. Kim spent 6 months training at a law firm in Malaysia prior to being admitted as a legal practitioner in New South Wales.

After graduating from her Masters degree in 2005, Kim spent 18 months working as a tipstaff (researcher) for a judge at the Court of Appeal of NSW.

In 2007 Kim joined the professional staff of Hitchcock & Associates and became a registered migration agent in 2008. She is now working on a variety of matters for our clients including Skilled and Family Migration casework. Kim (with the guidance of senior staff) is also involved in Distinguished Talent, Migration Review Tribunal and Ministerial Intervention work.
